This application is a client-side software tool designed for managing orthodontic and clinical image files stored either locally in the browser or in third-party cloud storage services such as Microsoft OneDrive.

The application does not provide file hosting or centralized storage services.

2. Architecture

The service operates using a hybrid architecture:

  • Client-side execution for local file operations
  • Direct integration with third-party storage providers (e.g. Microsoft OneDrive)
  • Limited backend services used only for request relay and API communication

3. Cloud Integration (Microsoft OneDrive)

When using cloud storage functionality:

  • The application connects to Microsoft OneDrive via Microsoft Graph API
  • Folder names, file names, and directory structures may be temporarily processed by backend services
  • Backend services act only as a relay between the user and Microsoft Graph API
  • No data is permanently stored or retained

4. User Responsibility

Users are solely responsible for:

  • Compliance with applicable data protection and medical regulations (including GDPR where applicable)
  • Lawful storage and processing of patient or clinical data
  • Managing access to their cloud storage accounts
  • Ensuring secure use of their devices and browsers

5. No Medical Advice

This application is a file management tool only.

It does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment recommendations, or clinical decision-making functionality.

6. Third-Party Services

The application integrates with third-party services such as Microsoft OneDrive.

We are not responsible for:

  • Data stored in third-party systems
  • Service outages or disruptions
  • Changes in third-party APIs or policies

7. No Warranty

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

  • Data loss or corruption
  • Unauthorized access to user accounts or devices
  • Issues arising from third-party services
  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or discontinue the service at any time.
